Beginners Wood Carving Class

Whittling 101 is a "Hands On Introduction to Wood Carving" class. We have several beginner projects to choose from! A club instructor will show you the basics of safety and wood carving, while helping throughout your project. Once you've finished, you can take your new carving home, it's yours to keep! How would you like to see a Christmas ornament that you carved, hanging from your tree? A gnome you carved peeking out from a shelf? Pull up a chair and start whittling with us today!

This class is for the beginner wood carver. It's basic, simple and enjoyable. No rush. Never carved before? No problem!

This is a two session class (8am to 12 noon over 2 days). Depending on how you progress, you could be done in a the first day, though most new carvers take at least 2 sessions. What happens if you don't finish in 2 days? Keep coming back! A year long membership is included with the class, so you can come back anytime to finish! What if I cant be here at 8am? No worries, just plan a time with the instructor. The Space Coast Carving Club meets once a week on Wednesdays from 8 to 12.

To schedule your class, let us know your coming, by messaging us HERE. You may also stop by and ask for James or Tom on club meeting days (Wednesdays 8am-12am) to schedule.
